Before you write

measure the ceiling.

  • Floor to ceiling, in the exact spot the bed will stand. Rising is designed from 7'10", Nuvola from 8'1" — if yours is lower, send it anyway and we'll look at what the room can do.
  • Note the lowest point if the ceiling slopes, and tell us about beams, ducts or a dropped section.
  • Width and depth of the room, plus where windows, doors and radiators sit.
  • Renting or in a co-op? Say so up front — both beds go together as furniture, not construction, and that usually settles the conversation with a landlord or board.
